"I am not GREEDY
I am not AMBITIOUS
I am just HARDWORKING" -ShahRukh Khan
This is the story of a man who once very confidently told his teacher that he wants to be a Bollywood actor in his school days, while the rest of the class laughed at him. This is the story of a man who had to face rejections time and again because of his disheveled look and unruly hair. This is the story of a man who stood at Marine Drive in Mumbai and promised himself that he would own the city one day. Two decades later, he's done just that! This is the story of Shah Rukh Khan.

Infinitesimal, everyday failures affect us all. Failure wasn’t just his companion during or before his stardom, it is still a substantial part of his life. SRK considers Kolkata Knight Riders and Ra-One to be examples of failure and he proudly accepts them, because according to him failure teaches him a lot. A boy from a middle-class family whose parents did not have enough money to take him to the movies has become “King Khan”. Shah Rukh Khan, who has seen endless struggles in his life – he has slept on streets, struggled to support himself and his sister at a very young age. He even lost his parents very early which led to his sister seeking mental health support. Amidst all the chaos and challenges, he kept pushing himself, and today he stands tall as the ‘Badshah of Bollywood’. Certainly, those years weren’t easy for him. Success doesn’t come easy, what made him a star was his acceptance of failure and the urge to improve.

His Early Days And Lessons

He not only saw failure but poverty too, especially after his parents’ demise. He vocally admits that he took on less creative work to overcome poverty. Some of the films which he accepted were rejected by big stars, but he took them on to avoid unemployment. Shah Rukh strongly believes that failure is a part of life, he believes that the true road to success is not just the desire for success but fear of failure and that if you don’t enjoy and be scared of your failure you will never succeed.
According to him, one needs to pass through some stages of failure in order to succeed. We might whimper about a successful superstar and his genuine tussle with failure. We believe that only a person who has been through adversity has all the rights to voice it out.

He believes it’s not the absence of failure that makes one successful, but it’s one response to it,  (AIMA speech, 2014).
Which is actually so real for e.g. If we keep on thinking that nothing can be done, or ask why did it happen to me? Then surely we are falling into the trap of failure, while on the other hand if we learn from our failure, and accept it as a part of life and move on, we become strong individuals. We chase success and we want to live successful lives.
Here is another take on success from SRK: “Success is not a good teacher, failure makes you humble”. Success makes us fly while failures remind us that “

What Can We Take From This?

Some stories just amaze us, and his story of struggle and then beating depression is definitely an inspired one. Failure, struggles, depression are just phases of life and it’s all about your attitude towards them and this belief has kept him going. Failure is a great teacher if you do not fail you will never learn and if you do not learn you will never grow.
He was successful in beating his depression through his skills i.e. acting in movies and working on what he likes. To add to this, he has a supportive family behind him. What also keeps him going is his self-motivation and his acceptance towards failure, because he truly believes -“Success and failure are both parts of life. Both are not permanent”. While he believes in failure, on the other hand, he deeply has faith in hard work as he once stated, “Every morning I wake up and think of the same thing that is the first shot of my life so I better make it stick”.
Is Imperative To Learn And Seek Help
In the battle of achieving something we often fall in the pit of jealousy and envy and forget experienced people can help us to climb the ladder, while in these lines he beautifully describes to be ourselves, and not to attempt to be angels all the time. To make sure we are honest, hardworking and enjoying life. “Life of great men all reminds us, We can make our lives sublime, And departing, leave behind us footprints on the sand of time”. Shah Rukh Khan is also a common-or-garden being like you and I. He is the embodiment of constantly embracing a spirited life.
"Learn to laugh at yourself and don't take yourself seriously no matters what you become" - ShahRukh Khan

"Being Fired From Apple Was Best Thing Happened To Me"

"STAY HUNGRY STAY FOOLISH" -Steve Jobs
STEVE JOBS : This Apple founder is now a household name. Jobs was given away for adoption by his biological parents and he became interested in electronics after his foster dad showed him the joys of technical tinkering in their garage. He had to drop out of college, because his education was costing his foster parents a lot. He used to return Coke bottles for money and live on free meals at the Hare Krishna temple. A hippie who used to trip on LSD, Jobs went from a technician in Atari, Inc. to becoming the CEO of Apple Inc.

Steve Wozniak, Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne together founded the Apple Computers in the 1970s.
Steve Jobs was among the first to see the commercial potential of Xerox PARC’s mouse-driven graphical user interface, which led to the creation of the Apple Lisa. On January 24, 1984 he introduced the Macintosh to an enthusiastic audience.
However, due to his ”erratic and temperamental” behavior as described by employees at the time, he often faced problems at Apple Computers. He also apparently kept meetings running past midnight and then called new meetings at 7:00 am. On May 24, 1985, Apple’s board removed Jobs from his managerial duties as head of the Macintosh division.
Jobs founded NeXT Computer in 1985, with $7 million. In 1986, Jobs bought The Graphics Group (later renamed Pixar) from Lucasfilm’s computer graphics division for the price of $10 million. The first film produced by the partnership, Toy Story, with Jobs credited as executive producer.
In 1996, Apple announced that it would buy NeXT for $427 million, thus welcoming Steve Jobs back to the company. In 2005 Jobs admitted that being fired from Apple was the best thing that happened to him.

"DON'T LIMIT YOUR CHALLENGES, CHALLENGE YOUR LIMIT"
What women have done in the world of sports this week is truly appreciated. Where India's women's hockey team won the Asia Cup by defeating China, the same was done by Super Boxer Mary Com's dream of bringing the Asian boxing championship back to the golden country. The mother of three children has shown that if there is a right attitude in mind, it is not difficult to achieve anything.
Story of struggle
Listening to the name of Mangte Changeyijang Mary Kom, the picture of a bold and courageous woman emerges first in the heart and mind. Mary Kom was born in Kaththeai village in Churachandpur district of Manipur, Western India. Mary Kom was interested in athletics since her childhood, and in 2000, Dinko Singh inspired her to become a boxer. It was not easy for a farmer's daughter to make a career in the boxing ring. When Marie Com started boxing, she could not find any support from her home. The house was against the boxing of Mary Com, but her hard work and passion forced her to bend.

There was no facility of practicing in the village nor much of the facilities. The milk which was needed for the boxer could hardly get them. Mary had started her boxing career in 2000 and despite not only the fluctuations she established herself but also honored the country on many occasions. In 2008, the female boxer was given the title of 'Magnificent Marie Com'. The whole story of Mary Kom, who illuminated the name of India in the boxing ring, was also featured on the film screen and Priyanka Chopra played her role in that film

Every medal is a story of struggle, says the indomitable Mary Kom, who considers her fifth Asian Boxing Championship gold medal special as it came despite the many roles she has had to play outside the ring in the past one year.
Mary Kom, a five-time world champion and Olympic bronze- medallist, scripted history by becoming the first boxer to claim five gold medals at the continental meet in the Vietnamese city of Ho Chi Minh.

At the beginning of his struggle, the Warrior says: "I have dreams"

At the beginning of his struggle, the Warrior says: "I have dreams" - Paulo Coelho

Paulo Coelho was born on August 24, 1947, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Coelho attended Jesuit schools and was raised by devout Catholic parents. He determined early on that he wanted to be a writer but was discouraged by his parents, who saw no future in that profession in Brazil. Coelho's rebellious adolescence spurred his parents to commit him to a mental asylum three times, starting when he was 17. "I have forgiven," Coelho said. "It happens with love, all the time - when you have this love towards someone else, but you want this person to change, to be like you. And then love can be very destructive."
He was a rebellious teenager and his parents committed him to an asylum three times. Coelho eventually got out of institutional care and enrolled in law school, but dropped out to indulge in the "sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll" of hippie life in the 1970s. He wrote song lyrics for Brazilian musicians protesting the country's military rule. He was jailed three times for his political activism and subjected to torture in prison.
When Coelho was 38 years old, he had a spiritual awakening in Spain and wrote about it in his first book, The Pilgrimage. It was his second book, The Alchemist, which made him famous. He’s sold 35 million copies and now writes about one book every two years.
Paulo Coelho wrote the best-selling novel, The Alchemist, which sold 35 million copies and is the most translated book in the world by a living author. This novel has many messages which are admired by people worldwide, like "And, when you can't go back, you have to worry only about the best way of mpving forward." so, this was his struggle story!

Struggle Of World's Highest Paid Actress

"People say that you are going the wrong way, when it's simply a way of your own"  - ANGELINA JOLIE
This time I would like to share the struggling story of a brave woman who fought all odds. Her parents divorced when she was just one year old. Her mother left acting to focus on her kids. At 11, she was bullied for being thin and wearing braces. At 14, she dropped out of high school due to consistent bullying and got so emotionally broken that she began to self-harm and cut herself. In one of her interviews, she told, "cutting myself and feeling the pain was somehow soothing for me". Even when she tried to get work as a model, she was rejected for being too thin and gloomy.
At 18, she got a leading role in film 'Cyborg 2', which was a failure,  she was disappointed and gave up acting. At 19, she got into drugs, tried twice to commit suicide due to loneliness and depression. Despite all this, SHE ALWAYS FOUGHT TO FIND PURPOSE IN HER LIFE and kept exploring herself. At 20, she worked in film 'Hacker' which was of little success. Then in 1997, she did a film 'George Wallace', which earned her 'Golden Globe Award', since then she steamed full ahead and never looked back. Yes, I am talking about 'ANGELINA JOLIE'!

Angelina Jolie is a Hollywood actress, Producer, and Humanitarian. Currently, she is the highest paid actress in the world with a net worth of $160 million. She won 1 Oscar Award, 1 Academy Award, 2 Screen Actor Guild Awards, 3 Golden Awards, received the Global Humanitarian Action Award from United Nations Association. Her story teaches us that, "Chase your purpose and success will follow you". There is nothing wrong with you if people consider you 'A Black Sheep' or a failure, but there is definitely something wrong with you if you don't explore yourself and find the purpose of your life and strive to achieve it. You are really gifted if you are different from others, utilize your uniqueness in the right direction instead of being low or convincing others that you are like them only. keep your chin up and move ahead, more you struggle today, more inspirational your success story will be. keep going!
